The Morristown-Hamblen Library will limit services beginning Wednesday, March 18. There will be no programs available at the Library and no walk-in traffic; however, the staff will continue to work with the public in these ways:

Provide services by request from email, telephone and online
Services can include reserves and printing at regular printing costs

Services are available from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sat.

Requests and reserves received by 10 a.m. will be ready for pick up at the front entrance of the Library only between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Mon.-Sat. or between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri.

The Library’s many online resources, such as eBooks and audiobooks from Tennessee R.E.A.D.S., are always available at www.morristownhamblenlibrary.org. The Library’s online databases also include Tumblebooks for children, A to Z food, Creativebug, Acorn TV, and digital magazines.  We have just added four new online resources to our website:  TumbleMath, TeenBookCloud, RomanceBookCloud, and AudioBookCloud.

If you do not have a library card and would like access to the online library services, please go to our website and fill out the application for an electronic service only card (eCard).

Fines will be waived for this period of limited services. Patrons who have Hotspots will be charged the regular daily fee; please call the Library for more information if you currently have a hotspot checked out.  An online payment option is now available if you call first to schedule it.

The Hamblen County Library Board has canceled the scheduled meeting for March.

As the coronavirus outbreak develops, please stay up to date on the Library’s plans and continue to access its digital resources by visiting www.morristownhamblenlibrary.org and following Morristown-Hamblen Library on Facebook for updates.
