The Children’s Library was opened to the general public on January 25th, 2003. The Children’s Library contains books, audiobooks, and magazines for children 13 years and under. There is a study room available for children to do homework or tutoring. We also have computers for children to use. To use the computers, a child must have his/her library card available, with fines under $5.00.

Children are invited to come to the Morristown-Hamblen Library Children’s Room for fun games, including darts, cornhole, and stack ’em. Everything is free, so come and enjoy some family time at the library!

Read to Your Child
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting a specially selected book each month free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners.
If you have a child under 5, sign him/her up for the Hamblen County Imagination Library.
